I just completed the amazing stage one & two drumming & nasheed course. The structure, the group & quality of teaching was all so perfect. It felt like a safe, non-judgemental space where I feel that I really benefitted from in so many different ways. I can now definitely see the improvement in my drumming/singing and my increase in confidence. Thank you!

This course has been exactly what I wanted from it. A chance to connect with sacred songs in praise of the prophet Muhammad SAW. Learning how to play the drum has always been a dream of mine, in just four weeks I managed to connect with this beautiful instrument despite never having picked up one prior to it. The group sessions were wonderful as we learned together and encouraged each other. Sakinah is a wonderful soul and teacher. God bless your efforts and reward you

Friendly, supportive sessions for women who want to learn how to sing nasheeds and drum at the same time. The teacher, Sakinah, is excellent, patient and encouraging and I cannot believe the huge progress that everyone made. Thank you so much, I would definitely like to continue onto another course.

Learning drumming with Pearls of Islam was such a joyful experience. Sakinah is patient and kind, and cultivates a warm and encouraging space to learn with fellow beginner students. The course covers a beautiful selection of nasheeds. We had a student portal with access to lyric sheets and videos, which really helped in practicing in between sessions. It's amazing how much we covered in such a short time! Highly recommend.
— Sabrina
I loved the course. It was so uplifting, so beautiful to be in a group together learning new rhythms and singing nasheeds. I had never played the drums before and I could feel my confidence increase every lesson. I was able to drum and sing some of the songs together towards the end of the course, which I didn’t think I’d be able to do.
